The Enthusiastic Motivator

Wandelroutes

Democratizing the Waymarked Trail.

From Trail Running Frustration to Product Solution. The concept was born on the trail. We identified a gap: users following waymarked routes (walking or trail running) were forced to constantly check their phones or pay premium subscriptions for what is essentially public data. We built Wandelroutes to fix the flow.

Brand & Strategy. We crafted the "Enthusiastic Motivator" identity. The UX is designed as a "Pocket Backup": it parses public waymarked data into a clean interface, removing the paywalls and account requirements common in competitors.

The Ecosystem. The core friction—having to stop running to check a map—was solved by extending the ecosystem to WearOS. We built a standalone watch app that acts as a silent guide, allowing users to stay immersed in the environment while receiving haptic cues.

The Build. Using Flutter, we engineered a robust offline engine. The app creates a friction-free bridge between the physical world and digital data, allowing users to find a starting point instantly.

The Digital Co-Pilot

Fietsroutes

Unlocking the Node Network.

Removing the Complexity (and the Paywall). While developing the walking engine, we realized the recreational cycling market suffered from the same issues: apps were either overly complex or hid essential public data behind paywalls. We pivoted our architecture to solve the specific needs of the "Node Network" (Knooppunten) cyclist.

Brand & Strategy. We developed a dynamic identity centered around the "Tire Track" and high-contrast Motion Blue. The goal was to replace the "crumpled paper on the handlebars" with a sleek, free-to-use digital co-pilot.

The Killer Feature. We identified that glancing at a phone while riding an e-bike is unsafe. We engineered a specific WearOS integration that puts the current and next node instruction directly on the wrist—delivering safer, glanceable navigation without breaking the ride's flow.

The Architecture. To maximize efficiency, we engineered a "Multi-Brand" core using Dart. This proprietary engine manages distinct logic for hiking (waymarked trails) and cycling (node networks) within a single repository, allowing us to deploy two distinct native ecosystems from one efficient codebase.
